Hello, Shanty Campers!
This is the "official" heads-up that SeaShantyCamp II is scheduled at Fort Flagler State Park on June 11-14. The program will be similar to last year, with a couple of improvements:
* There will be "breakout" sessions in which campers can focus on specific areas (vocal techniques, instruments, song repertoire, etc).
* I'm working to add a vocal coach who can teach breathing, support, pitch, tone, etc.
* There will be an additional follow-on event: A day sail aboard Lady Washington on July 2 from Port Townsend to Vashon Island, as part of Tall Ships 2008. this is an optional item at added expense, but I'm sure it will be a ton of fun.
